Lockbox/Electronic Entry Policy

Lockboxes offer our clients these benefits and more:

·       Adds key security, knowing your key stays on your property

How will we get a lockbox?

We believe choice and convenience are important so we have 4 digit (preferred for security) coded looped lockboxes for sale for $12.99 ($14.00 including tax). These lockboxes will work for the majority of our clients. Clients with a lot of keys or large fobs may need to purchase a larger box. If you prefer to buy your own, Amazon, Target, Home Depot, and your local locksmith have great selections. Also, if you have or are thinking of installing an electronic lock or keyless type door handle, that works great too!

Where will my lockbox be placed?

Also, more choices! We prefer an inconspicuous place like railings, fences or secured pipes like the gas meter or even a door handle behind a screen or a door that doesn’t face the street (for security). If you purchase your own lockbox, there are many mounted choices that increase your options of location as well. We will follow all building guidelines regarding submitting an application for permission to attach a lockbox, placement restrictions, and labeling.

What if there is no place to put a lockbox?

Special considerations will be made for clients in buildings that don’t have a designated area for lockboxes.
